Another happy client in Table View! This 6m x 3m pool had a problem we see all the time on the West Coast: the old fibreglass was loose and lifting, the pool was leaking, and the water had gone green. The owners were quoted for paint elsewhere. Painting over loose fibre is a waste of money – here is what we did instead.
The problem: loose, lifting fibreglass and a leaking pool
When fibreglass lets go of the shell, you get bubbles, lifting edges and water creeping behind the lining. From there it leaks, the colour fades, and no amount of paint will re-stick it. This pool had all of it.

The fix: strip the loose fibre, then a full fibreglass relining
The only proper repair is to remove every loose section and reline the whole pool:
- Stripped all loose and lifting fibreglass back to solid shell
- Prepared the surface properly
- Applied a complete new fibreglass lining, floor to waterline

The result: brand new in 2 days, R27,900 all inclusive
Two days after we arrived, the same pool was 100% waterproof, smooth and beautiful – R27,900 all inclusive, with a 10 year guarantee. The client is thrilled.
